You can use the mouse to draw a box around the area to be cropped in the preview image. If you only click on a point in the preview image, this will be the upper left point of the crop area (assuming no rotation), and the selected crop size will be used. If you double-click on the preview image, automatic cropping and automatic image size selection will be used.
